With its convenient indicator valve, The Tank displays the actual propane level, showing the total range from full all the way to low, indicating the need for a refill. This gauge ultimately eliminates running out of gas without knowing, and doesn't require connecting devices to the tank in order to know how much propane is inside. There are no instructions needed; simply look at the gauge.
- So simple to use - no instructions needed
- Glow-in-the-dark dial makes it easy to read even in low light conditions
- Requires no batteries unlike some competing products that use scales or electronic displays
- Convenient gauge readings at a glance
- Check liquid propane level any time - before, during, and after grilling
- D.O.T. 4BA 240 certified tank
- UL listed valve with OPD (Overfill Protection Device)
- Valve outlet dust cap
The Tank will also save you time and money, since there will no longer be a need to replace cylinders at the last minute, leaving you with more time to grill and less time worrying about your propane. The Tank is easily maintained and completely accurate, so you'll always know when it's time to grill and time to fill.
About LP Gas
Liquid propane (LP) is a petroleum product that is a gas at regular environmental pressures and temperatures. Under moderate pressure inside The Tank, LP is a liquid that readily vaporizes to become gas as the pressure is released. For this reason, commonly available, add-on pressure gauges don't actually tell you how much liquid propane you have left. They will tell you when the pressure's running low, but by then it may be too late if you've already started grilling. The Tank is the only product on the market that gives an accurate, reliable measurement of the level of liquid propane left in the tank.
Note: We recommend that you get The Tank filled at an authorized LP gas dealer, by a qualified attendant who fills the cylinder by weight. Improper filling can be dangerous, and The Tank's “Indicator” valve is not intended to be used for filling.
